Kids Camp 1 & 2 Speaker

Liz Hoffman

Liz has been traveling and speaking for over five years, passionately guiding adults and children towards a deeper love for missions and discipleship. Her love of storytelling, modeling a deeper walk with Jesus, as well as her heart for worship, engage audiences of all ages. 

A passion for missions has been the driving force of the Hoffman family. Along side her husband, Liz has worked for several non-profits, developing strategies to encourage generosity in in the hearts of children.

Currently, Liz lives in Springfield MO with her husband and family. Her favorite thing to do is hold her grandbabies!

Nate and Sharon Grenier

Nate and Sharon Grenier have been married since 2007 and are blessed with four daughters. Nate holds a master’s degree, and Sharon has a degree in elementary education. Together, we have served as children’s pastors and consultants in various churches and communities.

Currently, we own a missional coffee shop, Coffee Connections, located in Hilliard. Our shop plays an active role in community engagement. We have utilized our kids’ ministry training to connect with various groups in Hilliard, creating a family-friendly coffee shop that fosters relationships and community.

We have been a part of Starter Camp for over seven years and truly love the dynamic of camp ministry. We look forward to serving your children and teaching them the basics of Jesus’ life and how it applies to their own lives.

Ohio Kid Min offers eight camps for children from kindergarten through 5th grade. These camps have been a staple of a great summer in the Ohio Ministry Network. Our camps take place at Heartland Conference Retreat Center. Heartland is a beautiful year-round Christian camp, conference and retreat center.

  • A fund is in place to receive donations to help students with a financial need to attend camp. To request financial assistance, complete the Summer Camp Financial Assistance Application and submit it to Ohio Kids Ministry by April 24, 2024, to be considered for the 2024 Summer Camps. Financial Assistance is granted based on the availability of funds. To make a donation to the Summer Camp scholarship fund, make your check payable to Ohio Ministry Network and mail it to Ohio Kids Ministry – Camp Scholarship, 8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, Ohio 43240.

  • Once you are on the Ultra Camp Log-in page, you should be able to request a password reset. If you are still unable to get to your account, please email camp@ohioministry.net with your name and the difficulty you are having.

  • To attend kids camps, students can be coming out of 2nd-5th grade (7-11 years old). To attend starter camps, students can be coming out of kindergarten-1st grade.

  • The likely cause for students not appearing under a profile is that they are linked to another profile. Email camp@ohioministry.net with the campers name and we can resolve the issue in the backend.

  • Church IDs are associated with specific camps. If you plan to attend a different camp than your church is attending, please contact your church camp leader to set up an additional ID specific for that camp.

  • Yes, Heartland’s staff is prepared to accommodate common dietary restrictions during their week of camp with us.

    Please email us with any food allergies or dietary restrictions to: foodservices@heartlandretreat.com.

  • As a rule, all medication including vitamins must be given to the camp nurse. Special consideration can be made for EpiPens and inhalers. Click here to download the “Self-Carry Form” which must be completed by a physician prior to camp.

  • For Kids Camp 1 & 2, drop off is Monday between 9:30am-11:30am and pick up is Friday at 11:30am (You are welcome to join us for service at 10:00am).

    For Starter Camp 1, drop off is Monday between 9:30am-11:30am and pick up is Wednesday at 11am (You are welcome to join us for service at 10:00am).

    For Starter Camp 2, drop off is Wednesday between 12:15pm-1:15pm and pick up is Friday at 11am (You are welcome to join us for service at 10:00am).
