Tracie, along with her husband Duane and their three kids (Nathan, Noah, and Emma) are Ohio US Missionaries serving persons with disabilities in Ohio! She is based in Youngstown, OH but travels throughout the state to train leaders and churches how to involve persons with disabilities in their ministry. They host several events throughout the year including Respite Nights, Summer Getaways, and Night to Shine! She would love to come visit your church or ministry and provide support, training, and ideas!
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older, centered on God’s love. Night to Shine is a night for the churches to shine, the volunteers to shine, our honored guests to shine, and most importantly, God to shine!
What do you need to lead a special needs ministry? If you're not asking this question as a church leader, you are already behind. Families in your community are asking this question in every area of life--not just church. We need to meet families, families of every kind, and love them right where they are.
Leading a Special Needs Ministry is a practical how-to guide for the family ministry team working to welcome one or 100 children with special needs. Author Amy Fenton Lee offers easily referenced guidance for:
Caring for parents beginning the diagnosis process
