Morning Session

REACH IN

Students will learn what abilities God has put inside of them and why.  They will be challenged to REACH IN and share the love and life of Jesus everywhere they go; by utilizing their talents. They will be taught how to be a CHAMPION with their talents.  Students will choose one of three break-out Sessions for the opportunity to discover and develop what God has placed within them. Sessions include:

Woodworking – During this session we will guide children through designing and creating with their hands, and how they can use these tools to glorify God

Art – During this session children of all skill level will reach in and be given the tools they need to become the artist God created them to be. Together we will walk through the project and learn how God can speak through colors.

Dance – During this session students will learn the hows and whys of ministering through the art  of dance.

Afternoon Session

**Special note- students will ALL go to reach up and ALL go to reach out. There will be 2 “reach up” rooms (teaching the same thing) and 2 “reach out” rooms (teaching the same thing) We will split total students in half so they can all learn these valuable lessons.

  • Reach Up

Students will learn that God is always speaking and has something to say to them. He has great plans for their lives and wants to use them to do great things! They will be challenged to REACH UP and listen for what God is saying/asking. Jesus loves children and wants to tell them what is on His heart. Students will walk through some practical steps to hear from Jesus in their everyday lives so that they can then share Him with others.

Session (room 1): How to Be a Champion at home  – Students will work on their ability to hear from the Lord and be empowered to partner with God to bring his love to others. They will utilize the techniques in the book “The My Start Journal”.

    Reach Out

Students will learn that God loves everyone! He has a great life in store for all who will say “yes” to Him and invite Him to lead their lives. The great commission tells us to “go into all the world and tell everyone about Jesus”. We know the greatest secret ever: that Jesus loves me and died for me so I could live with Him forever. Students will be challenged to REACH OUT to their family, friends, neighbors, community and ultimately the world to tell them about Jesus and show them His love.

Session (room 2) : How to Be a Champion in Your Community – Students will learn what the Bible says about how they can be a champion when they take care of others, and different ways they can accomplish this in their local churches.
